The group who is speaking to you now consists of two guys called Mathias Wiström and Cristian Hampus. In the coming weeks we are going to create a new package for sushi.

We have decided to package the traditional sushi dish. We chose this because we wanted to offer the Swedish customers a ”fast food” dish to be bought in supermarkets, ready to be eaten right out the box. And the fact that sushi is very healthy is a big plus.

The target market we are aiming for are men and women between 25-45 years old. People who want to eat premium sushi with a good price, and those who are looking for a healthier alternative than other pre-cooked food.

Today it’s very hard to find normal sushi that is fresh in Swedish supermarkets. The sushi that’s available is often packed very simply with see-through plastic. It doesn’t look very classy and appetizing.

The inspiration for our package comes from the Japanese flag. We based the shape of our package on the red disc on the flag. The red disc represents the rising sun.

To be continued…
