Hina-matsuriOn March 3rd We have a day named Hina-matsuri. "Hina" means little girl and "Matsuri" means festival. HikingIn late autumn, the leaves turn to red and yellow in Japan. Japanese New Years DayNew year‘s Day is considered to be the most important annual event in Japan. People participant in various types of events and activities, and pray for good luck during the upcoming year.

In June 2008 a group of teachers from Mid Sweden University visited Chiba University, Japan. A design brief was made for a ”National Dish assignment” .
In September 2008 the design assignment was given to the students in Sweden at Mid Sweden University and in Japan at Chiba University. This is an exhibition of the results.
