Welcome to the National Dish project site.

This site's purpose is to document the progress between two international universities working parallel to identify and package their vision of a national dish. Students from Mid Sweden University and Chiba University, Tokyo, will follow similar design briefs to produce a design concept for a dish that they feel represents their country today.

The Assignment Begins Print

It's the beginning of term and the course Communicative Design has begun. Course instructor Niklas Fagerholm announces the assignment brief along with the news that the assignment will be in conjunction with Chiba university and that two students will be presenting the outcome in Tokyo in a few short weeks.
